Our Story

Meet Gal- the designer, maker and creator of the brand.

What Does “Norbu” Mean?

It took me a long time to find the perfect name, and like all meaningful names, it comes with a story.
In Tibetan, the word “Norbu” means jewelry or a precious stone.
For me, it’s more than that.
I first came across this word while watching a movie in the cinema.
The film was set in the breathtaking mountains of Tibet.
In one scene, the actress spoke the word Norbu, and the subtitles translated it as:
“Norbu – wish-fulfilling jewelry.”

At that moment, I knew I had found my brand’s name.

The Heart Behind My Creations

“The palms are the extension of the heart chakra.”

The first time I heard this saying, it deeply resonated with me.
As an artist, I seek meaning in everything I create—especially in my jewelry.
I craft each piece with my hands, and since my palms are an extension of my heart, every creation follows this path:

Heart → Palms → Yours.

My wish is that my jewelry touches your heart, makes you feel more like yourself, boosts your confidence, and connects you to nature’s textures.

Why Nature’s Textures?

Nature has always been my greatest inspiration.
It’s raw, imperfect, and beautifully unpredictable—just like life itself.
I’ve always felt a deep connection to the details of the natural world:
the rough edges of a seashell, the delicate lines of a leaf, the way water carves its path through stone.
These textures tell stories—of time, of transformation, of resilience.
And in them, I see the essence of true beauty.

When I create, I don’t try to tame nature’s textures. Instead, I honor them.
I let silver take the shape of melted wax, let impressions of rocks, bark, and shells find their way into my designs.
Each piece holds a fragment of the wild, a touch of the earth’s untamed spirit.

To me, wearing jewelry should feel like carrying a small piece of nature with you—
a reminder of the raw, organic beauty that surrounds us, of the deep connection we share with the world.

This is why Nature’s Textures is more than just a concept.
It’s a way of seeing, feeling, and creating.
A way of preserving the imperfect perfection of nature—so you can carry it with you, always.
